Today, September 21st 2008, 1:20 in the afternoon on sunday we had our first band practice. Normally this is something to dread, we all had the same thought that bad shit was going to go down. However the exact opposite happened. After the initial 20 minute bullshitting session we got to work and actually managed to nail down some riffs for a track we're going to write. We have the drums, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and bass, however more time needs to be spent on the vocals.

We also have a new line up, our original rhythm guitarist found it too difficult to try to keep up with everything going on in her life at once, and so she was replaced by Taylor's friend Kyle. And once I learn his last name I'll post it. Also, a shortened and extremely rough version of it was recorded to the best of our abilities and put onto our myspace. myspace.com/thoseleftunheard

CONTEST!

Those Left Unheard is having a contest to see who can create the most hardcore icon that fits our name and our style (see link above.)

We need an icon and a possible symbol (which may be the icon). You all have until december 15th to get your entry submitted. What we're looking for is this:

- Personality, it has its own look and feel, and it doesn't look like someone took it from somewhere else and pasted our name over the original.

- Style: this will help identify ourselves on dA and possibly on stage, give it a great look so that we can use yours.

Prizes:

1st place gets a song named after them, gets their icon used on our page, and gets it used as the cover for our myspace page.

2nd and 3rd place entries get saved in our favs and should they fit a song will be used as it's cover.

Which leads me to this, your entry doesn't have to be 50x50 for it to win, however it does needs to either be resized or 50x50 to be used for an icon. If you have a picture larger, give us the link to the full size and the icon size and we will judge adiquately.

NOTE: Entries MUST be serious to be able to win 1st place, if yours happens to be hilarious we might just write a song to fit the picture. Thats just how we are.
